Organization Biography

The L.O.V.E.2.L.E.A.R.N. Foundation is a community-rooted, non-profit organization formally established on January 4, 2021, and legally registered under the Sint Maarten Chamber of Commerce. The name of the foundation encapsulates its core philosophy: creating Learning Opportunities Via Education, driven by a commitment to Lifelong Empowerment and Artistic Reform. This mission aims to inspire underserved youth, support families, and create cultural and educational initiatives that uplift the entire community of Sint Maarten.

Since its founding, L.O.V.E.2.L.E.A.R.N. has dedicated itself to building inclusive, culturally enriching, and socially transformative programs. Through our initiatives, we bridge gaps for individuals with disabilities, young people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, and anyone in need of mentorship, inspiration, and opportunity. Our programs range from formal education support and scholarships to creative arts, cultural exchanges, and environmental awareness initiatives. We believe that nurturing the potential of young people today means shaping a better future for all.

To nurture personal and civic development in young people.
To promote and enhance interpersonal and leadership skills in youth work, both within Sint Maarten and across European networks.
To encourage intercultural dialogue as a tool for understanding, reconciliation, and peace-building.
To strengthen education through new models of cooperation involving formal, non-formal, and civic learning spaces.
To advance the creative and performing arts, with a special focus on music, drama, and dance as tools for healing and empowerment.
To promote philosophical and academic research into ethnicity, identity, migration, and behavioral sciences.
To advocate for environmental education and the importance of nature conservation, particularly among the youth.

Our Mission

To empower youth and underserved communities through inclusive education, cultural participation, and creative expression. We focus on long-term personal and social development by nurturing academic, artistic, and civic engagement opportunities for the most vulnerable in society.

Core Objectives

Empowerment Through Opportunity: To provide sustainable access to opportunities for underrepresented youth, including those with disabilities or from socio-economically challenged households.
Youth & Professional Exchanges: To facilitate meaningful exchanges between students, young professionals, and youth organizations locally, regionally, and internationally.
Training in Key Sectors: To provide high-quality training in sports, education, arts, and culture, promoting both physical well-being and creative development.
Scholarships and Educational Aid: To offer scholarship support and educational sponsorships for individuals wishing to pursue studies on Sint Maarten or abroad.

Program Methodology

Our programs follow a people-centered, participatory methodology. We believe that youth are not just beneficiaries but active contributors to societal progress. Our educational and creative activities are designed to:
