Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport. With an estimated budget of €26.2 billion for 2021, it provides opportunities for over 4 million participants to study, train, gain experience, and volunteer abroad.
The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
In addition to offering grants, Erasmus+ also supports teaching, research, networking and policy debate on EU topics. The sports chapter promotes grassroots activities in sports.
Through strategic collaboration with the European Commission’s Erasmus+ Programme, we organize international exchanges that allow young people from Sint Maarten to visit, live, and learn in European countries. These experiences help participants develop a global perspective, gain cross-cultural understanding, and build lifelong friendships. Conversely, we also host incoming youth from Europe for cultural immersion experiences on the island.
To empower youth and underserved communities through inclusive education, cultural participation, and creative expression.
